The Caribbean may not always be the first place that springs to mind when you think of a gay-friendly holiday destination; but for many gay couples, particularly gay and lesbian honeymooners, the Caribbean is a popular choice. The islands themselves are so diverse and offer varying degrees of gay acceptance on the islands. Even some of the islands that you may not immediately think are gay-friendly have some hotels and hidden gems that welcome scores of gay and lesbian tourists. The more obvious choices include islands such as Aruba, Curacao and Puerto Rico; in addition to this there are many more places which will welcome you with open arms.
